LAWRENCE FRISCH CALLED BY DEATH

Last Rites Are Held Monday For Former Local Area Farmer

Lawrence Frisch, 64, a former well-known farmer south of here in Westfield township, passed away last Thursday night in a Sioux City hospital afteran extended illness.

Mr. Frisch was bor Sept. 24, 1899, at Merrill, Iowa, and lived at Merrill and Akron, Iowa, before moving to Sioux City last January, residing at 314 Myrtle Street. He reitred from farming two years ago because of poor health. He married Blanche Harbeck Aug. 5, 1931, in Sioux City. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church.

Survivors include the widow; two sons, Lauren of Sioux City and Daniel at home; three daughters, Mrs. Agnes Sullivan and Miss Janet and Miss Betty Frisch, all of Sioux City; three brothers, Lester and Arnold, both of Sioux City, and Earl of Omaha; his twin sister, Miss Violet Frisch of Sioux City, and another sister, Mrs. Emma Thoms of Merrill, and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday morning in St. Boniface Catholic church, Sioux City, Rev. D. Wunderlich officiating. Burial was in Ellendale cemetery, near Merrill. Pallbearers were John Milbrodt, Bud Hartman, Orel Banks, Alfred Huls, Robert Foley and Frank Welch.
