MRS. CLARA LARSON PASSES AWAY

Mrs. Clara Larson, 70, who resided in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Burdette Schneider in Lincoln township, died Monday at a hospital of complications arising from back injuries suffered November 26, in a fall.

Mrs. Larson was born November 29, 1880, at Beaver Creek, Minn. She was married in 1901, to Halvor Larson at Luverne, Minn. They moved to Merrill in 1911 and Onawa, Iowa, in 1936.

Mrs. Larson was a member of the Methodist church and the Royal Neighbors of America.

Survivors include a son, Clifford H. Larson of Cherokee; two daughters, Mrs. Burdette Schneider of Hinton, and Mrs. William Schmaedecke of Omaha; five grandchildren, three sisters and five brothers at Beaver Creek.

Funeral services were held at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon in the Methodist church at Merrill, with the Rev. W.C. Smith of Merrill and Rev. M.L. Metcalf of Sioux City officiating, and burial was in the Merrill cemetery.
