MRS. MARY LUCE PASSED AWAY MONDAY

Mrs. Mary Luce, 69, wife of George Luce, a long time resident of Perry township, and they were residents of Sioux City the past 20 years, passed away Monday in a Sioux City hospital after an illness of six weeks.

Mrs. Luce was born April 20, 1882, in Memphis, Tenn.

Survivors include the widower, George Luce; two daughters, Mrs. Lavella Grant of Sheel Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Willie Griffith of Fresno, Calif., and a son, Dayle Sanders of Los Angeles.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. this Friday at St. Boniface Catholic church, Rev. Regis Watts, officiating.
