Mrs. Alice Geary, 87, Dies, Services Set At St. James Church

Mrs. Alice Geary, 87, died Sunday at the Sacred Heart hospital after an illness of three weeks.

Alice Bowers Geary was born July 19, 1864 in New York state. She came to this community as a small child and lived here all her life except for two years in Madison, Neb.

Surviving are: five sons, D. W. Geary, Vermillion, S. D.; George of Prairie du Chien, Neb.; Charles South Sioux City; Frank and Joe of Madison, Neb. Also four daughters, Mrs. Dan Driscoll, Tyler, Minn.; Mrs. L. R. Manning, Le Mars; Mrs. George Hart, Des Moines and Mrs. William Ahem, Arlee, Mont.

Funeral services will be Tuesday Dec. 11 at 9 a.m. at St. James church. Rev.L. J. La Velle will officiate at the services. Burial in St. James cemetery.

Wiltgen-Luedtke Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements.
