MAN FOUND DEAD

William Ferguson Succumbs to Sudden Attack Illness

Coroner John Beely was called to Perry township on Wednesday by a message stating a man had been found dead the previous afternoon.

Mr. Beely made the trip to Perry township, leaving here at 7:15 and returning at noon, making a six mile drive back and forth to the Perry Creek from Sioux City. He reported the death occurred from natural causes. Will Ferguson was found dead at four o’clock on Tuesday afternoon in a small house he was building a short distance from his home. His death was due to hemorrhage of the brain.

Mr. Ferguson was a native of Scotland, where he was born on September 15, 1860. He came to Plymouth county about twenty-five years ago. He leaves a wife and three children. The funeral was held yesterday, the interment taking place in Sioux City.
