JEFFERY CLAREY

Funeral for Jeffery J. Clarey, 18, LeMars, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. James Catholic church in LeMars. Msgr. Michael Sernett will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of the Luedtke-Feuerstein Funeral Home.

Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) with the parish rosary at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

He was killed early Tuesday morning (Sept. 15, 1987) in a car accident in LeMars.

Jeff was born June 14, 1969, at Sioux City to Paul and Carol Hillrichs Clarey, and was a 1987 graduate of LeMars Community High School. He lived at rural Merrill until moving to LeMars five years ago with his parents. He had been employed the last two years at Fareway Food Store in LeMars.

Survivors are his parents; two sisters, Mrs. Mike (Connie) Schmidt and Mrs. Kirk (Lori) Brown, both of LeMars; three brothers, Tim, Mike and Joe, all of LeMars; and his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Alma Hillrichs of Akron.
