Mrs. Johanna Maria Kleihauer, 84, Le Mars, died Wednesday at Floyd Valley hospital after a long illness. She had been hospitalized one year and nine months.

Johanna Maria Dircks was born April 17, 1885, in Grant township, Plymouth county, the daughter of the late John and Anna Zimmerman Dircks. She was married Feb. 19, 1903, to Henry J. Kleihauer in Grant township. Mrs. Kleihauer was a lifelong member of Christ Lutheran church. Grant township.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Saturday at Christ Lutheran church with Rev. Robert Reitz officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of the Mauer funeral home in Le Mars. A prayer service will be held at 8 p. m. Friday at the funeral home.

Survivors are sue daughters, Mrs. John F. (Anna) Plueger, Mrs. Cletus (Mary) Wiebersch, Mrs. Robert (Meta) Ruble, Mrs. Etta Beitelspacher and Mrs. Fred (Emma) H. Harms, all of Le Mars and Mrs. John (Lillian) Moller of Craig; three sons, Henry and Otto Kleihauer, both of rural Le Mars and Albert of Cherokee; 27 grandchildren; great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, a brother, her husband in 1931 and two sons.
