Grant Farmer is Survived by Ten Children

Henry Kleinhauer (should be Kleihauer) Is Called Beyond Struble News

Henry J. Kleinhauer was born December 3, 1870 in Jones county, Iowa, and came with his parents when a lad to Plymouth, county, settling in Preston township. Later the family moved to Grant township where he assisted with the farm wort, attended public school .and was confirmed at Christ Lutheran church and remained a member to the end. In 1903 he was united in marriage with Johanna Dirks and they began farming on a farm near Brunsville, This spring the family moved top their present home. Mr. Kleinhauer became ill about ten days ago. Medical aid did not relieve his condition and a few days later be suffered a stroke of paralysis and passed away Thursday morning(August 6, 1931).

He is survived by his devoted wife and ten children, as follows, Anna, John, Mrs, Mary Livermore, Mrs. Meta Ruble, Etta, Henry, Emma, Otto, Lillian and Albert; his aged mother, Mrs. Mary Kleinhauer. of Grant township; Mrs. Albert Lubben of Grant township; Mrs. Albert Dirks of Iron Nation, S. D., and Miss Anna of Grant township, besides numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held, Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. J. D. Meyer conducting the last rites and the body laid to rest in the Grant township cemetery.
