Mrs.Trinka Plueger Dies, Rites Tuesday
Mrs. Trinka Plueger, a resident of Plymouth county for 79 years died Friday, June 13, at the Sacred Heart hospital after an illness of four weeks.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 17, at 1:30 at the farm home in Grant township and at 2 o'clock at the Christ Lutheran church in Grant township. The Rev. Richard Fruehling will conduct the services. Burial will be in church cemetery.
Trinka Dircks Plueger was born January 14, 1870 in Illinois. She came to Plymouth county with her parents at the age of three years in a covered wagon. She has lived in this county since that time.
She was married to Henry Plueger, November 23, 1888, in Grant township. Mr. Plueger died in 1949. Mrs. Plueger was confirmed in the Christ Lutheran church and was a life long member ofthe same church.
The body will be at the Maurer Funeral Home until 8 a.m. Tuesday when it will be taken to the Grant township home.
Survivors include two daughters: Mrs. Claus (Mary) Siebens and Mrs. Herbert (Anna) Molzen both of LeMars. Five sons, John W., William A., Fred L., Henry C., and Richard all of LeMars. A sister, Mrs. Hanna Kleilhauer of LeMars, 20 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
