Alice A. Kruse, 83, rural Le Mars, died Sunday (Feb. 2, 1992) at Floyd Valley Hospital in Le Mars.

Services were at 1:30 Tuesday at Christ Lutheran Church, rural Le Mars. Rev. Jack Hebard officiated. Burial was in Christ Lutheran cemetery, under direction of Mauer- Johnson funeral home in Le Mars.

Mrs. Kruse was born Feb. 23, 1908, in Plymouth County, the daughter of Charles H. and Anna (Borchers) Mammen. She married William Kruse Feb. 12, 1933, in Grant township. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and Faith Circle Church Women.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Lennice Rohlfs, and her husband Richard of Le Mars; a son, Donald Kruse, and his wife, Gayla of Le Mars; a sister, Minnie Doering, Le Mars; a brother, Carl Mammen and his wife, Vera of Le Mars; six grandchildren, Randall Rohlfs of Sedona, Ariz., Rhonda Grasz and her husband, Jim, of Craig, Cindy Rohlfs and Terry Hummel of Sioux City, Katharine Kruse of Madison, Wis., Donna Kimble and her husband, Ron of Cedar Rapids, and Jeffrey Kruse of Quincy, 111.; and-a great-grandchild, Keith Hummel of Sioux City.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Elmer Mammen.
