Donald L. Dunn, 66, 3409 Jennings St., Sioux City, died Sunday, Jan. 26, 1992 in a Sioux City hospital of a lengthy illness.

Services were Thursday at Blessed Sacrament Church in Sioux City, with Rev. Richard Adam officiating. Entombment was at Calvary Cemetery, with military graveside services conducted by American Legion and Disabled American Veterans. Arrangements were under direction of Larkin Northside Funeral Home.

Mr. Dunn was born Feb. 1, 1925, in Sioux City, the son of Philip and Marie (Brislane) Dunn. He lived in Sioux City all his life except while serving in the navy during World War II. He married Jean M. Greenwood, a former Akron resident December 29, 1947, in Sioux City. He served on the Sioux City fire department for 24 years, and then was employed by I-Go Moving and Storage until his retirement in 1986. Mr. Dunn was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic church in Sioux City.

Survivors include his wife; seven children and their spouses, Patty and Jim Budden of Hinton, Dan and Nora Dunn of Omaha, Mike Dunn of Phoenix, Ariz., Mary and Craig Temple of Omaha, Kevin and Kristie Dunn of El Centre, Calif., Donajean and Tom Bures of Sioux City, and Ed and Carrie Dunn of Escondido, Calif.; and 13 grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Jim Budden, Craig Temple, Tom Bures, Donald Greenwood, Jules Bay and Wayne Berens.
