Mrs. Hilbert Hennigs, 61, Le Mars, died Feb. 21,1974 at Floyd Valley hospital after an illness of a year.

Anna Siebens, the daughter of Claus and Mary (Plueger) Siebens, was born Oct 4,1912, in Le Mars. She was married Oct 4, 1931, at Christ Lutheran church, Grant township. The couple farmed northwest of Le Mars until 1965 and then operated the Richland, S. D. store until 1973 when they retired to Le Mars.

Survivors are her husband, Hilbert, Le Mars; two sons, Lloyd, Le Mars, and Dale, Hawarden; a daughter, Mrs. Roger (Bettyann) Haring, Le Mars; eight grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. Claus Siebens, Le Mars; three sisters, Mrs. Herman (Minnie) Kruse, Le Mars; Mrs. Otto (Frances) Ludwigs, Le Mars, and Mrs. Jack W. (Rose) Ludwigs, Le Mars.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 25, at St. John American Lutheran church in Le Mars, Rev. Arnold Imbrock and Rev. William Striepe officiated. Burial was in Grant township Lutheran cemetery under direction of the Fisch Funeral Home in Remsen.
