Mrs. John Plueger Interred at Grant Township Sunday

Last rites for Mrs. John W. Plueger, lifelong resident of Plymouth county, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 13 at Christ Lutheran Church, Grant township. Rev. Eldor M. Fruehling officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery with Mauer Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Sena Siebens, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. Siebens, was born Aug. 19, 1894, in Johnson township, Plymouth county, Iowa. In August, 1913, she married John W. Plueger at the farm home of her parents.

Death came Thursday, June 10, at the Sacred Heart Hospital after being stricken at her farm home a short time earlier. Mrs. Plueger was 59 years of age.

Survivors include her husband, John, and three sons, Roy, Henry and George, all of Le Mars; also five grandchildren; three brothers, Gerd, Claus, and John Siebens; all of Le Mars and three sisters, Mrs. Dena Fischer of California, Mrs. Minnie Borchers of Ireton, and Mrs. John (Lena) Johnson of Le Mars.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Lawrence in 1953, and one sister, Mrs. George Miller.

Rites Held For Mrs. Plueger

Ireton, la.- Funeral services for Mrs. John W. Plueger, lifelong resident of Plymouth county were held Sunday, June 13, at Christ Lutheran church, Grant township. Rev. Eldor Freuhling officiat­ed. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Serra Siebens, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. Sieben, was born August 19, 1894, in Johnson township. Plymouth county. In August 1913 she was married to John W. Plueger.

Death came Thursday, June 10 at her farm home after being stricken shortly before. She was 59.

Survivors include the widower; three sons Roy, Henry and George of Le Mars; three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Borchers of Ireton, Mrs. Dena Fischer of California, and Mrs. John Johnson of Le Mars; three brothers. Gerd, Claus and John Siebens all of Le Mars and five grandchildren.
