SALIX, Iowa -- Lloyd W. Mook, 87, of Centennial, Colo., formerly of Salix, died March 8, 2010.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, March 12, at Our Lady of Loreto Catholic Church in Foxfield, Colo. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Kansas City, Mo.

Lloyd was born May 9, 1922, in Merrill, the son of Roy and Frances Mook. He was a resident of Salix, Iowa, for many years.

He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Atwell; a son, David Mook; a brother, Harold; sisters, Betty Winterringer, Patty Larson and Sheryl Pyle; grandchildren, Maria and Mandy; and a great-granddaughter, Sophia.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Evelyn; and brothers, Dewayne and James.
