Merrill, Iowa - Ainsworth A. Lang, 83, of Merrill died Monday, May 27, 1991, at Floyd Valley Hospital in Le Mars after an extended illness.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Maurer-Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars with Rev. Frank Philipp officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery at Merrill. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today with the family present from 7-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Lang was born January 22, 1908 in Plymouth County, the son of Albert F and Myrtle R (Nicholson) Lang. He was a lifelong Plymouth County resident. He married Clara F Petersen February 15, 1932, in Merrill. He was a retired farmer and trucker.

Mr. Lang was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Le Mars.

Survivors include his wife; a sister, Hazel Farmer of Le Mars and nieces and nephews.
