MARVIN W. DREESZEN

Marvin W. Dreeszen, 62, of rural Sergeant Bluff, died Friday (Nov. 23, 1984) at a Sioux City hospital after an apparent heart attack.

Funeral was at 10 a.m. Monday at the Christy Morningside Funeral Home Rev. James Zellers officiated. Burial was in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Adaville.

Visitation was for 1-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Mr. Dreeszen was born Dec. 24, 1921, in Plymouth County. He was raised in Plymouth County and has lived in the Siouxland area for many years.

He married Delores Onnen Oct. 29, 1979, in Elk Point, S.D.

He was a truck driver for over 30 years, most recently with Western Tank Line Inc. He was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Tom (Marva Jean) Ruden of East Alton, Ill., Mrs. Gene (Janice) Frank of Marcus, and Mrs. Kevin (Wanda) Summers of Lincoln, Neb.; one brother, Robert Dreeszen of Canton, S.D.; and eight grandchildren.
