Albert A. (Kelly) Husman, 78, Merrill, a longtime Plymouth county resident, died Friday (September 6, 1991) at Brentwood Good Samaritan Center in Le Mars.

Services were held Sunday at St. John American Lutheran church in Merrill. Rev. Frank Phillip officiated. Burial was in Hillside cemetery at Merrill, under direction of Johnson funeral home of Le Mars.

Mr. Husman was born April 23, 1913, at Spink, South Dakota to Fred and Margaretha Ressen Husman. He came to Plymouth county as a young man and lived in Plymouth county most of his life. He was a member of St. John’s American Lutheran church and was active in Boy Scouts.

Surviving are his wife, Lucille Husman of Merrill; a son, Donald and his wife, Patricia Husman of Aurora, Colorado; a daughter, Betty and husband, Walt Fuller of Merrill; a son, Richard and his wife, Laura of Merrill; nine grandchildren, Robert and Rebecca Fuller, Malinda Campbell, Michelle and Michael Husman, Kelly, Andrew, Angela and Jennifer Husman; four great-grandchildren, Joshua and Nicole Fuller and Michael and Melynda Campbell; two brothers, Henry Husman of Westbrook, Minnesota and Alfred Husman and wife Florence of Westfield; two sister, Christine Carstensen and Dorothy Madden and husband Frank of Le Mars.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, John and Fred; and two sisters Julia Baack and Catherine Husman.
