Mrs. Florence E. Hinken, 47, a resident of Centralia for the past 25 years, died at a Seattle hospital Wednesday (November 14, 1973).

She was born November 20, 1925, Huron, South Dakota, moving to this area from Montana. She was employed as a registered nurse at the Centralia Medical Center. Mrs. Hinken was a member of the Lewis County Chapter of the Nurses Association, the First Christian Church of Centralia and Ivy Camp Royal Neighbors.

Surviving are a son, James A., Pullman; two daughters, Mrs. Brian (Ann) Jelgerhuis, Cheney, and Miss Susan Hinken, Centralia; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Swearingen, Centralia; a brother , Walter Swearingen, Kennewick; five sisters, Mrs. Harold (Doris) Shorb, Las Vegas, Nevada; Mrs. Fred (Betty) Cross, Centralia; Ms. Maurice (Bernice) Walsh, Bremerton; Mrs. Tom (Marie) Richard, Fairbanks, Alaska; and Mrs. Richard (Helen) Kiffer, Tacoma.

Memorial services will be Saturday at 3 P.m. at Newell-Hoerling’s, Centralia, with the Rev. Harvey C. Hartling officiating.
