FUNERAL SERVICES FOR FRANK TRAFFORD TO BE FRIDAY, APRIL 9

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 9, in LeMars for Frank Trafford, who passed away at his home at 321 First Avenue, NE., April 6. Services will be held in St. James Catholic church at 9 a.m. with Father L. J. LaVelle officiating. Interment will be in St. James cemetery.

Mr. Trafford was born January 29, 1887, in LeMars and was 61 years, two months, and seven days old at time of death. He lives all of his life in LeMars where he was engaged as a painter and decorator.

February 11, 1920, he was married to Helen Considine in Cathedral Church in Sioux City. One son, Donald, was born to the couple and he preceded Mr. Trafford in death.

Survivors include five brothers and two sisters, Harry, Charlie and Robert Trafford of LeMars, William of Fairmont, S.D., and Everett Trafford of Light Oak, California. The sisters are Mrs. Warren Lillie of LeMars and Mrs. Edith Miller of Butte, Montana. Also surviving are two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen, his son and one sister and one brother.

Remains were taken to his home Thursday afternoon. Arrangements were at Wiltgen’s Funeral Home.
