DIES DUE TO INJURIES IN FALL FROM HORSE

David Dunn Becker, 16, son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond J. Becker, of Plymouth township, died Sunday at the hospital in LeMars due to injuries he sustained Tuesday, Aug. 14, when he fell from a horse he was riding near his home, as the horse stumbled.

Survivors besides his parents, are a brother, Gene, and two sisters, Janice and Rae. Also his grandfather, Joseph Becker of Merrill and grandmother, Mrs. Nellie Dunn of LeMars.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Mauer funeral chapel, with Rev. Darrell Eller and Rev. Clarence Ketterling officiating at the service. Burial was in the cemetery at Melbourne.
