MARY ZINK

Mrs. Mary Zink, whose home was at 36 – 4th Ave. SW, passed away there on October 17, following a two month sickness. She was a lifelong resident of Plymouth County.

Mary Pageler was born October 21, 1881, in Grant Township. She was married to Edward F. Zink on Oct. 29, 1902, in LeMars. The couple observed their golden wedding anniversary in 1952. Deceased was 71 years, 11 months and 26 days of age.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 20, 1953, at 2:00 P.M. at St. Johns American Lutheran Church in LeMars. Intern Wesley Baasen will officiate and burial will be in the city cemetery under the direction of the Mauer funeral home.

Survivors include her husband, Edward; two daughters, Mrs. Fred J. H. Plueger (Laura), Mrs. Dewey C. Driscoll (Lucile), both of LeMars; 4 grandchildren; and 1 great granddaughter; one sister, Mrs. John F. Wilms; one half sister, Mrs. Kate Buse; and many friends and relatives.

Pallbearers will be six nephews: Charles Zink, Carl Witt, Rhinhold Witt, Dick Wilms, Roy Pageler, Clarence Pageler. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

Deceased was a member of St. Johns American Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid Society of the same church.
