FRANK SOULE HINTON PIONEER PASSES AWAY

Many friends in this vicinity mourn the passing of Frank Soule, who died in a hospital at LeMars last week Friday, following a prolonged illness. Mr. Soule had been in the state hospital at Iowa City and recently was taken to the Zimmerman home at LeMars.

Frank Soule was born June 4, 1870, in Kalamazoo, Mich., and came to Plymouth County 41 years ago locating on a farm for several years, later moving to Minnesota where they spent two years, then moved to Hinton and has since resided here excepting the last couple of years when he stayed in the home of his son, Delbert, at Hines, Minn.

He was united in marriage in 1896 to Miss Eva Nash, at Kalamazoo, where they resided for one year before locating to this county. Mrs. Soule preceded him in death a year ago.

Mr. Soule is survived by two sons, Delbert Soule, of Hines, Minn., and Arthur Soule; and one daughter, Mrs. Arthur Oldies, of Sioux City; two brothers, Will and Charles Soule, of Kalamazoo. A son, Ivy, died seven years ago.

Funeral services were held from the Hinton Methodist church last Saturday afternoon, Rev. W.E. Ellison officiating, and burial was in the Lincoln Township cemetery.
