MRS. ROSS DAY

Mrs. Ross (Florence) Day, whose home was at 611 Central Ave. S.W., in LeMars, passed away early Thursday, August 6, 1953, at the Sacred Heart hospital.

Mrs. Day, who had been sick for several months, was born on a farm near Ireton on March 26th, 1892. Her parents were David and Ella Crouse. She was united in marriage to Ross B. Day on February 15, 1911, at Ireton.

She is survived by three sons, Lyle and Lowell of LeMars, and Ivan of Yakima, Washington, and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at Luken’s funeral home on Monday August 10, 1953, at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Frank Patterson will officiate and burial will be in the city cemetery under the direction of the Luken funeral home.

Mr. Day passed away on November 14, 1949.
