RITES MONDAY FOR ALBERT WEBER

Funeral services for Albert Weber, 84, were held Monday afternoon at St. John’s American Lutheran Church. The Rev. L.L. Belk officiated at the services and burial was in the LeMars City cemetery.

Albert Weber was born Sept. 13, 1866, in Ofresland, Germany. He was married in 1892 to Hempe Gerdes de Buhr in Germany. He came to LeMars in 1923 and has made his home here since that time.

He was a tailor in Germany and continued his trade after coming to LeMars. He died Friday, August 24, after a short illness, at the Sacred Heart hospital.

The survivors include two daughters Mrs. Gerd Lubben of Fergus Falls, Minn., and Mrs. Franz Fernzel of Germany. Also a sister and two brothers in Germany, 16 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Mauers were in charge of arrangements.
