Rudolph H. Kamradt, 80, Akron, died unexpectedly Wednesday (Dec. 13, 1972) at his home.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Immanuel Lutheran Church. Rev. David Roy will officiate.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery with Schroeder funeral home at Akron in charge.
Mr. Kamradt was born March 22, 1892, in Marcus. He married Nora Olson in Merrill in 1917.
The couple farmed in the Akron community, he since age 12. They retired to Akron in 1958.
Survivors are his wife; two sons, Lloyd R. and Lowell C. of Sioux City; a daughter, Mrs. Clifford Faust of Westfield; seven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Another Obituary:Rudolph Kamradt departed this life last Wednesday morning, December 13, at his home in Akron. His death came suddenly and without warning. He was 80 years of age.
Rudolph Hans Kamradt was born in Marcus, Iowa, March 22, 1892. When he was but 12 years of age his family moved into the Akron community. At a marriage service in St. Paul Lutheran Church, Johnson Township, near Merrill, Iowa, April 17, 1917, he was united in marriage to Miss Nora Olson. 'They'"were able to observe their 55th wedding anniversary last spring. Mr. and Mrs. Kamradt farmed southeast
of Akron from 1917 until 1958 when he retired and they moved to Akron. Since he lived in this community. for some sixty-eight years, he was well known and liked all through the area. With his wife he joined the Immanuel Lutheran Church in 1940.Among those who survive his departure are: his wife, Mrs. Nora Kamradt; his two sons, Lowell Kamradt and Lloyd Kamradt, both of Sioux City; his daughter, Mrs. Gladys Faust of Westfield; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, beside other relatives and friends.
The funeral service in his memory was held at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Friday, December 15, with Pastor David J. Roy officiating. Mrs.Henning Shoulberg was organist and accompanied Mrs. Stuart
Harris as she sang "Rock of Ages" and "Nearer My God To Thee". Alvin Clausen, David Faust, Clarence Kamradt, Mark Kamradt, Mike Kamradt and Ronald Kamradt were casket bearers. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery.Akron Register Tribune
