Mrs. Walter J. Prestage

Mrs. Walter J. Prestage, 77, 1013 Jackson St., died Friday at a Sioux City nursing home after a brief illness.

The former Bertha C. Andersen, she was born March 20, 1895, at LeMars, Iowa. She was married to Walter J. Prestage March 18, 1921, at Adaville, Iowa, and they farmed in Plymouth County until moving to Sioux City in 1945. Mr. Prestage died March 19, 1956, in Sioux City.

Survivors include two sons, Walter B. (Bert) of Sioux City and Verlyn C. of San Diego, Calif., seven grandchildren and three brothers, Clarence Andersen of Pineville, Minn., Calvin Andersen of Fort Collins, Colo., and Wayne Andersen of Duluth.

The body was taken to the Anderson-Perasso Funeral Home.
