LE MARS, Iowa -- Theresa A. "Terry" Grosenheider, 55, of Le Mars died Monday, Dec. 1, 2003, at Floyd Valley Hospital in Le Mars.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Craig, Iowa, with the Rev. Pete Petersen officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Carlsen Funeral Home in Le Mars. Visitation will resume one hour prior to the service Thursday at the church.

Theresa A. McNamara was born Aug. 22, 1948, in Sioux City, to Raymond and Arlene (Denlinger) McNamara. She was baptized in the Catholic faith in Sioux City. She grew up in Sioux City and graduated from Heelan High School in 1967.

She was united in marriage to Kenneth Grosenheider on Aug. 31, 1968, at Cathedral of the Epiphany in Sioux City. The couple farmed near Ireton, Iowa, for many years. She enjoyed staying home to care for the children.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. She enjoyed baking and cooking for her family. Her greatest passion in her life was her children.

She is survived by a daughter and her husband, Lori and Steve Westhoff of Le Mars; a son and his wife, Chris and Sherrie Grosenheider of Ireton; her mother, Arlene McNamara of Sioux City; eight brothers and sisters, Sharon Leuenhagen of Sioux City, Rae Marie Pendergast of South Sioux City, Bob McNamara of Sioux City, Mary and her husband, Michael Nearman of Alpharetta, Ga., Joseph McNamara and his wife, Vicky of Sioux City, Ed McNamara and his wife, Louann of Jefferson, S.D., Donna and her husband, Rusty Giffrow of Sioux City, and Alicia and her husband, Dave Johnson of Sioux City; a dear friend, Joyce Renken of Le Mars; and several nieces, nephews and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond McNamara; a brother in infancy, Merlin McNamara; and her husband, Kenneth on Feb. 9, 1994.

Pallbearers will be Lori Westhoff, Steve Westhoff, Chris Grosenheider, Bobbie Jo Borchers, Shelia Herfel, Michael Pendergast and Jeff Herfel.
