Dwight Francis Graham, 80, of Sioux City died Friday, Oct. 10, 2003, at a Sioux City hospital following a brief illness.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Church of the Nativity, with the Rev. Gerald Feierfeil officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. Monday, with a vigil service at 7 p.m. and a rosary recited by the 3rd Degree of Knights of Columbus at 7:30 p.m., at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Visitation will resume one hour prior to the funeral Tuesday at the church.

Dwight was born July 30, 1923, in Sioux City, the son of Earl and Anna (Christensen) Graham. He was baptized in the Catholic faith on Aug. 25, 1923. He graduated from Liberty Consolidated School in rural Merrill, Iowa, in 1942.

On Feb. 7, 1945, he married Patricia M. Clarey at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ellendale, Iowa. In 1951 they moved to Sioux City, where he worked at MoPar for seven years. In 1958 he joined Kent Feeds, where he worked until his retirement as plant manager in 1985.

Dwight was an active member of his church and the Knights of Columbus. He was an avid supporter of Heelan athletics, the Sioux City Explorers and the Chicago Cubs. He loved the game of golf and played at every opportunity. He was a longtime member of the Sioux City Eagles and enjoyed dancing.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia; four children, Linda and her husband Roy Linn of Correctionville, Iowa, Dale and his wife, Barbara Graham of Dakota Dunes, S.D., Fred Graham of Sioux City, and Joanne Clarey Fuller of Cedar Falls, Iowa; 11 grandchildren, Katie Linn Slater, Amanda and Laura Linn, Kellie, Kimberly and Jennifer Graham, Erich and Travis Olson, Brianna Gowen and Marissa and Zachary Fuller.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Pallbearers will be his grandchildren.
