TENA W. BARTON

Tena W. Barton, 88, Scottsdale, Ariz., a Grant Township, Plymouth County native, died Monday, July 30, 1990, at Scottsdale Heritage Court.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Christ Lutheran Church, Grant Township, rural LeMars, with Rev. Jack Hebard officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Friday with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. at the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in LeMars.

The former Tena W. Cramer was born Oct. 7, 1901, in Grant Township, Plymouth County, to Henry and Elizabeth Croon Cramer. She married Carl V. Albright Oct. 15, 1919, in Grant Township. He died in 1943. She married Walter Barton April 16, 1946, in California.

Mrs. Barton was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Wickenberg, Ariz.

Survivors are her husband, Walter, Scottsdale; a stepson, Glenn Barton, of Fountain Valley, Calif.; two step-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Ed (Reaka) Baack of LeMars, and Mrs. George (Vera) Oller of Rapid City, S.D.; a brother, Henry Cramer of Scottsdale; nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Donald, in 1933, and Hilbert (Bud) in 1947; three brothers and three sisters.
