JAYSON A. BARTO
KINGSLEY, Iowa – Jayson A. Barto, 22, of Kingsley, currently surviving in the U.S. Navy stationed in Puerto Rico, died Monday, Sept. 6, 1999, of injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First Lutheran Church in Kingsley, with the Rev. Michael Gruhn officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Township Cemetery, Moville, Iowa, with military rites. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Earnest-Michaelson Funeral Home in Kingsley.
Mr. Barto was born Aug. 17, 1977, in Sioux City, the son of Jay D. and Crystal (Ketelsen) Barto. He was raised in the Kingsley area and graduated from Kingsley-Pearson High School. He then enlisted in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his parents of Kingsley; a sister, Buffy Barto of Sioux City; three brothers, Tae, Stace and Jordell Barto, all at home; maternal grandparents, Chris and Mary Ketelsen of Anthon, Iowa; paternal grandparents, Gene and Pauline Barto of Moville; and many aunts and uncles.
