FRANK MOREHEAD

Frank Morehead, 89, Akron, died Sunday, October 27, 1985, in a nursing home in Alcester, S.D., after a brief illness.

Mr. Morehead was born November 11, 1895, in Plymouth county, to Wilber and Ella Fletcher Morehead. He married Ruth Talbott Jan. 1, 1933, at Akron. They farmed in the Adaville area their entire married life until the last three years when they made their home with their daughter in Akron. He has been a resident of the nursing home the last two months.

Mr. Morehead was an Army veteran of World War I, having served in France.

Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Dick (Marjorie) Jelkin of Akron; five sisters, Mrs. Roy (Ivy) Jennings and Mrs. Sanford (Marie) Hinzman, both of LeMars, Mrs. Elmer (Gertrude) Brown of Merrill, Mrs. Arthur (Vera) Wright of Sioux City, and Mrs. Nels (Phoebe) Patrick of Ralston; two brothers, Vernon of LeMars, and Lloyd of Akron; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Mrs. Ed (Nellie) Raber.
