CLARA MAXWELL
Clara M. Maxwell, 49, who has made her home at Phoenix, Arizona, for many years, died at Lutheran hospital in Sioux City on Friday morning, July 19th, after a 10 month sickness.
Clara Maxwell, the daughter of the late Hugh and Isabel Maxwell was born in Union Township on January 1st, 1908. She was the youngest of 4 children.
She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. George (Ferne) Blaire of LeMars, Mrs. Ivan (Anna) Hart, Sioux City; and two nephews, Richard Hart of Ridge Craft, California and Dennis Hart in the service in Japan.
Her parents and a brother, William, preceded her in death. Miss Maxwell was a member of the Presbyterian church and Eastern Star.
Funeral services were held on Monday, July 22, at 1:30 at Nelson-Berger Funeral Home in Sioux City with the Rev. LuVern Clark, assistant pastor of the First Presbyterian Church officiating. Graveside services were held in the City Cemetery in LeMars.
