Mrs. E. Stinton

LeMars, Iowa—Mrs. Everett Stinton, 82, of LeMars died Wednesday at a LeMars hospital. [Date of death: Aug. 2, 1978, per hand written entry on the scrapbook page]

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Wesley United Methodist Church at Akron with the Rev. J. Milton Kinney officiating. Burial will be in Adaville Cemetery near Akron, under the direction of the Luken-Johnson Funeral Home of LeMars.

Mrs. Stinton was born Oct. 13, 1895, in Plymouth County. She was married Aug. 12, 1914, in Sioux City. They farmed in the Akron area. Mr. Stinton died Feb. 23, 1963. She moved to LeMars in 1964.

Survivors include three sons, Lloyd of Medford, Ore., Dwaine of Denver, Colo., and Cletus of Sioux City; a daughter, Mrs. Alva (Marjorie) Rozell of LeMars; a sister, Mrs. Everett (Mary) Orr of Merrill; 15 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

NOTE: Her maiden name was Lillian Hines.
