Neil L. Chamberlain

Neil L. Chamberlain, 47, of Sioux City, formerly of Akron, Iowa, died unexpectedly Friday, October16, 1998, at his residence.

Services were held Tuesday, October 20, 1998, at Schroeder Funeral Home with Reverend William Flemr officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery. Schroeder Funeral Home, Akron, Iowa, was in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Gary Tucker, Doug Rosenbaum, Lloyd Meyer Richard Schierling, Dennis McMillan, Keith French, Kenneth Hillrichs, and Bruce Reemts.

Pianist was Carol Harris with Gary Tucker as soloist.

Mr. Chamberlain was born May 6, 1951, in Le Mars, Iowa, the son of Marvin L. and Inez E. (Diediker) Chamberlain. He was confirmed in the Lutheran faith. He attended school in Akron and graduated from Akron High School. He also attended Western Iowa Tech Community College. He lived in Spencer, Iowa, for many years before moving to Sioux City.

Survivors include his mother, Inez Palmer of Akron; a brother and his wife, Bruce and Mary Reemts of Omaha, Nebraska; a sister and her friend, Debbie Palmer and Keith; two daughters, Rhonda and Angeline of Sioux Falls, S.D.; four grandchildren; a grandmother, Minnie Chamberlain of Le Mars; and two aunts.

He was preceded in death by his father and step-father, Darrell Palmer.
