KENNETH SCHULZ, 52, DIES AT ROCHESTER; PLAN RITES AT CRAIG
Funeral services for Kenneth Edward Schulz, 52, Le Mars, will be held at 2 pm. Wednesday at St. John Lutheran church, Craig. Burial will be in the Craig Lutheran cemetery under direction of the Mauer funeral home. Rev. Ernest Christensen will officiate at last rites.
Mr. Schulz died Sunday at Rochester, Minn., after an illness of several years. He was a lifelong resident of Plymouth county. He was born Feb. 23, 1914, in Grant township and had been at Rochester for five days for heart surgery.
On Jan.15, 1942, he was married to Mildred Kruse at the Preston township church near Akron. He is the son of Mrs. Emilie (Onken) Schulz, Le Mars, and the late Herman Schulz.
Survivors are his wife, Mildred; three children, Richard, Larry and Sharon, all at home; his mother, Mrs. Emilie Schulz, Le Mars; two brothers, Melvin, Maurice; and Herman, rural Le Mars; three sisters, Mrs. Alfred (Helen) Hartman and Mrs. Bennie (Gladys) Ahrendt, both of Le Mars; and Mrs. William (Arlene) McHale, Craig.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1927. He was a member of St. John American Lutheran church, Craig, and the Lutheran Brotherhood.
