She was united in marriage with Heike Neunaber in 1889, and shortly after their marriage they came to Plymouth county, Iowa, and engaged in farming near Akron until 1919, when they moved to a farm west of Le Mars.
Her husband preceded her in death five years ago.
She is survived by two sons, Frank Neunaber, of Le Mars, and John Neunaber, east of Akron, and one daughter, Mrs. Katherine Albertson, of Keystone, Iowa; also by three grandchildren. She was a fine Christian woman and a devout member of the Lutheran faith. A devoted wife, mother, and homemaker, she was esteemed in a wide circle of friends, who extend sympathy to the bereaved family.
The funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at St. John's lutheran church in Le Mars, conducted by Rev. J. J. Vollmar. Interment was in the City cemetery at Le Mars. A number of old neighbors and friends, east of Akron, attended the final rites as a tribute of respect.
