Henning, Benjamin Franklin 1880-1950
B. F. Henning, 69, Died Sunday at His Home; Rites Wednesday.
Death Sunday claimed Benjamin Franklin Henning at his home at 400 First avenue northeast in Le Mars after a lingering illness. Mr. Henning had formerly been an electrical engineer and had been employed more recently by the Lampert Yards.
Funeral services will be held at the Mauer funeral home Wednesday at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Frank Anderson of the First Baptist church officiating. Burial will be in the Le Mars cemetery.
Mr. Henning, who had been a resident of the Le Mars since 1917, was 69 years old. He was born May 1, 1880, at Minonk, Ill., the son of E. J. and Dena Henning.
On July 11, 1913 he married Clara E. Manthei in Le Mars, who survives him, as does a son, Gerald Henning of Chicago and one grandson.
