John Henning. John Henning, 88, of Remsen, died Monday (March 3, 1980) in a nursing home in Remsen.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Moeller funeral home at Remsen. Rev. William Striepe, vacancy pastor of St. Paul Lutheran church of Remsen, will officiate. Burial will be in the Remsen city cemetery.
Mr. Henning was born Jan. 24, 1892, in Plymouth county. He farmed in North Dakota for 20 years before moving to the Remsen area where he was a farm hand and carpenter.
