Mrs. Robert (Olga) Anderson

Mrs. Robert (Olga) Anderson, 95, of Akron, Iowa, died Sunday (Sept. 14, 1986) in the Akron Convalescent Gate Center after a brief illness.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 17 in Immanuel Lutheran church, Akron. The Rev. Benard Nelson officiated. Burial was in Riverside cemetery under the direction of Schroeder funeral home, Akron. Mrs. Stuart Harris, soloist, sang "What A Friend" and "Beyond The Sunset", accompanied by organist, Mrs. Benard Nelson.

Pallbearers were Richard Anderson, Rodney Anderson, Craig Mollet, Mark Mollet, Kevin Mollet, and Tom Knutson.

Mrs. Anderson, the former Olga Josefina Erickson, was born August 11, 1891, in Plymouth county, Iowa, to Solomon and Ida M. Johnson Erickson. She married Robert Anderson Nov. 28, 1917, in Sioux City. They fanned in the Akron area for many years before retiring to Akron in 1946. Mr. Anderson died in March 1954. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran church and LCW. She was a former member of the Union Creek Extension club.

Survivors include a son; Stanley of Akron; a daughter, Mrs. Frances Mollet of Burbank, S.D.; nine grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert; a son, Conrad; and a sister, Edith Erickson Brundeen.
