Death Takes Early Remsen Resident. Mrs. Frieda Peters Died Thursday – Funeral Services Held Saturday.
Mrs. Frieda Peters, resident of Remsen for 54 years, passed away Thursday morning in the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Kroeger, with whom she had made her home for a long time. She was 81 years old.
Mrs. Peters, well known and highly esteemed by the many who enjoyed her acquaintance, had been failing in health for some time and the end was foreseen in recent weeks. Surviving are four daughters and one son. Two children preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock in the Kroeger home followed by services in Christ Lutheran church, with Rev. A. Noack conducting the service.
