Wilbur C. Clark, Jr., 53, Westfield, died suddenly Saturday (Feb. 21, 1987) at his home.

Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the First Baptist Church in Akron. The Rev. Burl Ratzsch officiated. Tim Kelley, accompanied by Rev. Ratzsch, sang "How Great Thou Art" and "In The Garden". Mrs. Elmer Fickbohm was organist. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery in Akron, under the direction of Schroeder Funeral Home, Akron.

Pallbearers were Jay Winquist, Jed Winquist, Tracy Lewis, Bob Lewis, Jeff Patterson, and James Harlowe. Honorary bearers were Jim Richters and Paul Bringman.

Mr. Clark was born Jan. 10, 1934 in North Charleroi, Pa. He married Patricia Winquist Feb. 1, 1957, at Fort Belvoir, Va. He worked with the civil service in Arlington and Woodridge, Va., area and moved to Westfield in 1977. He was a clerk for Johnson Hardware in Sioux City and Hummel Hardware in Westfield for several years. At the present time he was a small appliance repairman at Dirks Hardware in Akron. Mr. Clark served in the Korean conflict from 1953 to 1957.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia; two sons, Charles of Westfield, and Tom of Tucson, Ariz.; and a daughter, Mrs. Tammy Moore of Tucson, Ariz.; his father, Wilbur Clark, Sr. of Monessen, Pa., and his mother, Helen Irene Baker of Little Rock, Ark.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Danny.
