Funeral services for William Jurgensen, age 82, were, held December 1, at 2 p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Akron, the Reverend Durwood Clausen officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery under the direction of the Schroeder Funeral Home. Pall bearers were: Arval Jurgensen, Arnold Clark, Elmer Jurgensen,
Vernon Jurgensen, Alvin Jurgensen, and Carroll Fredrickson.

Mr. Jurgensen died November 28 at the Akron Hospital a long illness.

William Jurgensen was born in Union County, S. D., February 17, 1888. On January 12,1915 he married Laura Klemme. He farmed in the Akron area all of his life until retiring to Akron in 1956.

Survivors are his widow; daughters, Mrs. Fred Grosenheider of Ireton, Mrs. William Hartman of Richmond, Calif., Mrs. Donald Baack of Le Mars, Mrs. Lloyd Elchacker of Wheatridge, Colo., Mrs. William Johnson of Boulder, Colo.; a son Robert of Sioux City; a brother, Charles of Akron; a sister Mrs. Russell Clark Akron; 24 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
