Mrs. Dick Kluver. REMSEN, Iowa – Mrs. Dick Kluver, 81, of Remsen, died Oct. 29 at a Sioux City Hospital after suffering a heart attack at her home.
Services will be a 11 a.m. Nov.1 in St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church at Remsen. The Rev. Julian Swanson will officiate. Burial will be in the Remsen City Cemetery under direction of Moeller Funeral Home.
Mrs. Kluver, the former Anna Koch, was born March 2, 1895, in Plymouth County. She was married Dec. 18, 1914, at her home in Plymouth county. The couple farmed in the Kingsley area nine years, then south of Remsen until retirement in 1968, when they moved into Remsen.
Survivors include the widower; two daughters, Mrs. Matie Moser of Kinsley and Mrs. Ruben (Alma) Stabe of Sioux City; three sons, Edmund of Oxnard, Calif., Herman of Remsen and Marvin of Cypress, Calif.; 22 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. – family news clipping
