Obituary. Anna Borm.
Anna Borm, 81, longtime Remsen resident, died at Floyd Valley hospital Sunday after an illness of five months. She had lived at the hospital for five months and prior to that time she lived at Happy Siesta rest home, Remsen, for two years.
She was born June 25, 1886, in Germany, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Claus Borm. She came to Remsen with her parents at age 13 and had lived there since.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Christ Lutheran church, Remsen. Rev. Alfred Christensen will officiate and burial will be in Remsen city cemetery under direction of the Moeller funeral home. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Monday.
Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Charles Madelkow, Bridgewater, S.D., and Mrs. Herman (Emma) Erichsen, Remsen, and a number of nieces and nephews. – Le Mars Daily Sentinel, June 10, 1968, Page 9.
