Niels Anderson Kloster, the five months old son of Mr. and Mrs. T. Kloster, living seven miles northwest of here, died Wednesday night of last week from an attack of lung fever and whooping cough. He was ill about four days. The funeral services were held from the Danish Lutheran church northwest of here and the interment made in the Remsen cemetery on Friday. The community extend sympathy to this estimable family in their sorrow. – Le Mars Semi-Weekly Sentinel, June 9, 1909, page 2.

Note: Little Niels Andersen Kloster was born December 24, 1908. His parents were Thorvald and Anna Sophia (Nielsen) Kloster.
