Wood Cutter Killed Monday

Head injuries received when he fell against a log while cutting wood on the P.E. Held place near the Floyd River Monday morning resulted in the death at noon Monday for Adoplp Adams, 50 years old, a laborer of Sioux City.

He was working with a group of men from the Wall Street Mission, when he suffered the inuries. He was sawing a limb from a tree which had been cut down, and as the limb dropped off, the log over balanced striking the victim and knocking him down. As he fell, his head struck on another log, causing a fracture of the skull.
Adams was taken to a Sioux City hospital but failled to regain consciousness.
