Obituaries--Frank L. Tullis
Frank L. Tullis, 77, Sioux City, died Saturday (March 12, 1988) at a Sioux City hospital after a brief illness.
Funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Boniface Catholic Church with Rev. Donald Ries officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery at Merrill (Ellendale). Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Monday with the family present from 7 to 9 p.m. in Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. A scriptural wake service will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
Mr. Tullis was born Aug. 18, 1910, in Pierre, S.D., to William and Gertrude Van Dyk Tullis, and went to the Sioux City area as a child. He married Monica Beaulieu Jan. 17, 1938, in Merrill. He was an independent tank wagon driver for 45 years, retiring in August 1975.
Mr. Tullis was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church.
Survivors are his wife; a son, Tom of Boone, Iowa; a daughter, Mrs. Roger (Theresa) Hahn of Spokane, Wash.; a brother, Lloyd of Hinton; two sisters, Mrs. Donald (Mona) Lund of LeMars, and Mrs. Lilla Mae Marine of Sioux City; seven grandchildren adn three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
