Beadle Services Held Wednesday
Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 11, for Mrs. Ruth Beadle, 66, at the First Congregational Church at Hudson. Mrs. Beadle died March 7 at Canton-Inwood Hospital following a brief illness.
Pallbearers were Paul Wiebersick, Charles Fowles, Delbert Fowles, Harry Anderson, John W. Anderson and Don Fisk. Interment was at the Eden Cemetery.
The Rev. Milo Sheldon officiated at the services. Mrs. May Bel Burnham was the organist.
Ruth Amy Tullar was born August 10, 1903 to Bertha and William Turlar (sic--Tullar) at Lennox. She attended school at Lennox and at Hudson and graduated from Hudson High School.
On October 25, 1923 she was married to Lockey Beadle at Hudson. Following their marriage they settled in the Hudson vicinity and have lived there ever since.
Mrs. Beadle was preceded in death by her father and mother. Surviving her are her husband, Lockey; three sons, Miles of Downey, Calif., Earle of Hudson, and Gene of Whittier, Calif.; one daughter, Janice, Mrs. James Endsley, of Yankton; ten grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
