William Beadle Rites at Hudson

Funeral services were held at the Congregational church in Hudson Wednesday afternoon for William T. Beadle, one of Hudson's early settlers who died Saturday morning. Services were conducted by Rev. David Graham.

Beadle was born at Dubuque, Ia., and at the age of seven years moved to Sioux County, Iowa, where he had resided ever since except for 2 or 3 years when the family lived in Minnesota.

On March 14, 1901, he was married to Mattie J. Small at LeMars, Ia., and to the union was born four sons, Willie who died in infancy, Lockey and James of Hudson and John Edwin of Detroit.

Beadle was an active member of the township board for many years and was an active member of the Congregational church.

He is survived by the widow, three sons, six grandchildren, and one brother, George Beadle of Hudson.
