Saturday, April 22, 2000Henry J. Wichlac, 94, of Sioux City, died Wednesday at a Sioux City nursing home following a lengthy illness.
Services will be at 10:454 a.m. Monday at Holy Spirit chapel. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, LeMars, Iowa. Visitation will be 9:45 a.m. until service time Monday at Holy Spirit chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.
Mr. Wichlac was born Jan. 30, 1906, in Buffalo, N.Y., the son of John and Katherine Wichlac. He graduated from Buffalo High School and the University of Michigan.
He married Florence Burkard on Sept. 19, 1933, in LeMars, Iowa. She died March 2, 1986, in Sioux City. He worked as an accountant for several firms in Sioux City.
He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and International Accountants.
Survivors inclued a niece, Marge Joyce, of Clarence, N. Y.
